This project continues to move along at a relatively high rate of speed. Project coordinators and contractors have maintained two way traffic to the fullest extent of their ability and put systems in place to keep any one way traffic wait times to a maximum of 10 minutes.

All sections are paved and they are working hard to have that concrete median at Christian Ridge completed before the Labor Day weekend. Work on the project will stop at noon on September 3rd for the Labor Day Holiday Weekend and will commence on Tuesday morning September 7th.

While the overall project is still far from complete, several sections are quite close, giving us a glimpse of the “light at the end of the tunnel”! Drive safely and be aware of reduced speed limits during this busy construction season.
